Coming from Cape Town
From Cape Town you take the N2 towards Somerset West/George. About 80 km after Cape Town you turn left and take the R43 towards Hermanus. Follow the R43 through Hermanus and Stanford and you’ll reach De Kelders (shortly before Gansbaai – 3km before). Take the first entrance into De Kelders on your right. After 200 m turn left at the first crossing (landmark Benguela restaurant) into Hoof Weg (Main Road). Another 350 m further take the second road on your right and turn into Ingang Straat. Sea Star Lodge welcomes you after 200 m on your left. (Note road signs are marked in yellow on the road stoops.) The distance from Cape Town Center to Sea Star Lodge is about 160 km and it will take you almost two hours.
Coming from Plettenberg Bay
From Plettenberg Bay you take the N2 towards George/Airport/Mosselbaai/Kaapstad. Follow the N2 approximately 283 km. After this distance you turn right onto R 326. Follow this route approximately 50 km. After this distance please turn left onto the R43. You pass Stanford and take direction Gansbaai. De Kelders is situated shortly before Gansbaai (3km before). Take the first entrance into De Kelders on your right. After 200 m turn left at the first crossing (landmark Benguela restaurant) into Hoof Weg (Main Road). Another 350 m further take the second road on your right and turn into Ingang Straat. Sea Star Lodge welcomes you after 200 m on your left. (Note road signs are marked in yellow on the road stoops.)
Coming from George
Take the N2 towards Cape Town. Turn left in Riviersonderend and follow the R326 to Stanford. In Stanford turn left into the R43 and follow the road to de Kelders.
In De Kelders
Take the first entrance into de Kelders on your right and turn left at the first paved crossing (landmark ANLO) into the Hoof Weg (Main Road). Take the second road on your right and turn into Ingang Straat. The Seastar Lodge welcomes you after 200m on your left.
